CHBB was founded in 1971 by Gary Close. Rod Perkins and Robert Hauta joined the practice in 1973 and 1977 respectively. The firm flourished due to the hard work and dedication of the partners to their clients. In 1993, Micheal Close joined the partnership as it continued to grow. Gary Close decided to sell his partnership in 2011 to Amanda Bertoia. In 2015, Kerri Blanchette became the fourth partner of the firm, as Rod Perkins retired as a partner. In 2020 Ashley Bower purchased Robert Hauta’s partnership when he retired. Michael Close retired in 2021. Our goal is to build the practice based on a “hands on,” customer focused type of accounting firm.
